Organic Groups

The entire work in simplePDM is done in organic groups, commonly referred as groups. Every group is actually a different company with its own members and content.
As a member of a group you will be able to see the content that belongs to that specific group. In order to add content or edit existing content you have to be a content provider and be granted group admin privileges.
In order to access a content of a group you must be a group member. That can be done in several ways:
- You become a group manager.
- Request membership from a group you found in the Groups Directory or by entering the group's URL (if you got it via email for example).
- You are added to the group by that group admin.
