Case Tracker
From SimplePDM wiki
Case tracker is an issue tracking system (also known as incident ticket system). The use of this content type is to allow group members track pending tasks. For example, if a style file of a jacket is missing the sleeve's head notch and it's pocket should be placed on the opposite side of the front piece, then two cases should be opened. While technically speaking it would be possible to open a single case and state all the tasks that should be done, it is considered a bad practice. Since every task can be assigned to different people, or it might need different action, it's always best to separate all the tasks to smaller cases. Using the example above it might turn out that the missing notch should be assigned to Stanley instead of Betty (two users in the same group), and that this issue is urgent; While the pocket is actually By design, meaning that no action should be taken.
My Cases
Found under [simplepdm.com/cases] you can see all the cases in your group, and can filter them using the advanced view. It would be a good habit if you visited this page on a daily basis and to see the progress of pending issues.
